Competitively Priced and Superior Quality, “Made in USA” Becoming Popular in China
WESTON, Wis. – August 3, 2015 – From The Forest, maker of engineered hardwood flooring at competitive prices, announced today that it has shipped its first order to a buyer in China. The company shipped a container of American-made, American-grown hardwood flooring to a large Chinese retailer. The order validates From The Forest’s high-tech, automated approach to manufacturing and its focus on quality.
"It hasn’t exactly been easy getting a new flooring plant off the ground, starting in 2007 and surviving through the housing slump. Yet, here we are, selling into the market that everyone said would put us out of business,” said Vice President Susan Lang. “The truth is, our manufacturing process makes us cost competitive in nearly every market in the world and our quality puts us ahead on almost every dimension.”
Headquartered in Central Wisconsin, From The Forest is a leader in manufacturing innovative wood flooring. The company is dedicated to producing premium quality products at competitive pricing, FTF sources all materials from managed forests. From The Forest is proud to be an American company that sources all its material from North America. It is dedicated to providing jobs for more Americans.
From The Forest was founded by industry veterans Tryggvi Magnusson (President) and Susan Lang (Vice President and General Manager). The team understands the responsibility of producing high performing, beautiful flooring at a competitive price. With over 40 years of combined wood flooring manufacturing experience customers benefit from this by knowing the products are designed for stability and long-term wear.
Last week, a few of our From The Forest members set off in pursuit of Music City. This year, Nashville played host to the 29th Annual National Wood Flooring Association Expo, and certainly “Struck a Cord” with those in attendance. According to Hardwood Floors editors, “A total of 3,036 people attended the three day event from April 16-19, a 30 percent increase from 2013.”
President Tyggvi Magnusson stated, “This year’s expo was undoubtedly the best show to date! There was a lot of thought behind every detail.” Susan Lang, Vice President and General Manager added, “The Expo management team nailed it. From the preshow publicity, opening ceremony educational seminars, to the final awards dinner, the event was top notch.”
This year marks the first time From The Forest exhibited in the NWFA Expo. Fresh off the launch of our newest product introduction, the Vineyard Collection, the event provided our team with an open forum we desired to showcase our product and secure display commitments. It was a great networking opportunity for our team to meet with current and potential customers and share valuable information.
